What is Mondiad?
Mondiad is an advertising network established in 2019 as a result of their expansion from the success of popunder network, PopCash. This new platform offers even more advanced features and greater diversity for advertisers.
Mondiad Ad Formats
Mondiad supports six different ad formats for both desktop and mobile:
- Classic Push: These traditional push ads display as messages or notifications on a user’s screen. They are designed to grab attention quickly, prompting users to engage. Classic push ads are effective for reaching a broad audience faster.
- In-page Push: They look like classic push notifications, but are shown within a website’s content instead of on the device’s screen. They’re less intrusive, but still offer great visibility and engagement.
- Native Ads: Native ads integrate smoothly with the website or app content, making them appear as part of the platform for a more seamless user experience. This makes them more trustworthy and less intrusive, yet more engaging than standard display ads. Designed to match the platform’s style, they boost user interaction.
- Banner Ads: You might be familiar with this format based on its popularity. Mondiad offers five standard formats and various placements, allowing advertisers to get creative with eye-catching visuals designed to drive conversions.
- Dynamic Ads: Dynamic ads appear as the user scrolls through a webpage, sliding into view in the header or footer. Once visible, they stay fixed in place until the user closes them. Their constant presence boosts the chances of engagement without taking up too much screen space or disrupting website navigation.
- Interstitial Ads: Interstitial ads are full-screen ads that appear between content or at natural transition points, like after finishing an article, completing a game level, or navigating within an app. They offer high visibility and strong exposure for advertisers.
Mondiad Targeting
Mondiad allows granular targeting on several dimensions, making it easier for advertisers to reach their target audience.
Mondiad advertisers can target based on users’:
- GEO
- Browser
- Carrier
- OS
- Device type
- Age
- and more.

One of the platforms you can easily use alongside Mondiad is ClickFlare. ClickFlare is an ad tracker that allows performance marketers to track first-party data.
With ClickFlare, you can track and monitor all your campaigns in one dashboard, collect rich user data independent of iOS 14 or cookie limitations, and optimize your campaigns by sending accurate data back to your ad platforms.
Recently, ClickFlare has partnered with Mondiad to help all Mondiad advertisers gain better understanding of their data.
How Mondiad and ClickFlare Improve Ad Campaigns

How to Track Your Mondiad Campaigns with ClickFlare
Tracking your Mondiad campaigns with ClickFlare is very simple. You need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Add Mondiad as a traffic source
For this step, you simply need to go to Traffic Sources, click on +New, and search for the ready-made Mondiad template.
You need to name the traffic source and select the correct currency. The Parameters section is already mapped out based on Mondiad’s requirements.
If you wish to post conversion data back to Mondiad, you can do so via the postback URL option.
Step 2: Create an Offer
Under Offers, click on +New. In this step, you will be generating your offer tracking link. Within ClickFlare, an offer refers to the page where your visitor makes the final conversion.
You need to add your offer link, and optionally select an affiliate network. You can quickly create an affiliate network using our various templates:
Make sure to always include the ClickFlare click ID parameter in your offer link for tracking to work properly.
Step 3: Create a Campaign
Now, you are ready to create your first campaign under Campaigns, and +New. You need to give your campaign a name, select Mondiad as your traffic source, and optionally add the country or device type for this campaign.
ClickFlare will pull cost data from Mondiad via postback. For this, you do not need to make any changes. The cost macro is already included in the ready-made template we showed above.
For the method of transition between ad and campaign funnel, you can choose between the Redirect and Direct flow. With the Redirect flow, the user will be briefly redirected to a tracking domain before landing on your page. For this setup, you do not need to add any code to your page. With the Direct method, the user will be immediately directed to your page, and in order to track their data you will need to place a code on your page. We would suggest using the Redirect flow, since it is easier to implement and it is in line with Mondiad compliance.
Next, you need to specify the Destination of your campaign. For this example, we will send the user directly to the final offer page.
After you click on Save, ClickFlare will generate a Campaign Tracking URL for you. You simply need to copy this link and use it as the ad destination on Mondiad.
How to Optimize Your Mondiad Campaigns for Better Results
Now, it’s time for more actionable tips on campaign optimization, from our partners at Mondiad.
1. Start with clear objectives
Advertising is a process and like any other action, it requires a plan, namely, an end goal and a strategy to achieve it. Having clear, measurable objectives will help you stay focused on what matters most while navigating the complexities of your ad campaigns. Your objective(s) can be anything from driving brand awareness, to looking to increase conversions, to driving new leads to a business, and whatever else is your cup of tea.
Additionally to setting clear campaign goals, you should be aligning them to the right tracking parameters since they’ll be guiding every step of your optimization efforts. For example, if your objective is to lower CPA, you’ll need to monitor cost-per-click, conversion rates, and your audience’s behavior at different stages of the funnel to make informed adjustments.
💡 If terms like CPM, CPA, TargetCPA, CPI, CPL, SOI, DOI, and the like are giving you a hard time, we have a full guide that explains them.
2. Be flexible with your targeting
Targeting is key to reaching the right audience, but starting too narrow can hinder your ability to collect meaningful data. This aspect is especially true if this is your first time promoting your current offer or you are just starting out your affiliate marketing/advertising journey.
That being said, it’s best to begin with broader targeting options to understand who is engaging with your ads, then narrow down your choices and focus on optimizing your best audiences. This type of flexibility will help you keep moving and finding new opportunities to explore.
💡 In some cases, if you are promoting offers from an affiliate network, you should ask your manager for existing data on your offer or other promo materials which would help you optimize your campaigns into green.
3. You don’t need a huge budget
Just like your targeting, your bidding strategy should not remain static but evolve based on the performance of your campaigns. Naturally, you should increase bids on high-performing placements and reduce bids for underperforming ones.
For example, if a certain segment consistently drives more conversions at a low cost, consider increasing your bid to increase your win rate. On the other hand, placements that are draining your budget with little return should be cut out.
💡 Ahead of running your campaign, set a total budget then divide it into small portions based on your campaign duration and other relevant configurations like a daily limit or a test budget.
4. Know your feedback loop
Analyzing performance data should be an ongoing process, not a one-time task but it doesn’t mean you’ll need to keep your eyes glued to the monitor. To be able to make data-based decisions, you’ll need to wait until relevant stats are gathered. As a general rule, you should wait at least 3 days before making any changes to your initial setup and only then look for performance patterns you could further fine-tune.
Regular reports review from both your ad network and your ad tracker will allow you to maintain a dynamic reporting loop, and better understand the changing market conditions.
5. Fail, win, repeat
Since you are reading this, you must love data as much as we do. And you most probably also agree that the best way to understand data is to put it to test. Enter A/B testing, one of the most effective ways to refine your campaign performance.
This trial-and-error approach helps reduce guesswork by testing different variations of ad creatives, landing pages, copy, call to actions and the like, to determine what resonates most with your offer. Just apply your findings to your current and/or next campaigns and you’ll have failproof, data-based parameters to ensure your campaign success.
Conclusion
In conclusion, combining Mondiad with ClickFlare gives you the tools to track, optimize, and improve your ad campaigns effortlessly. Mondiad offers engaging ad formats and advanced targeting, while ClickFlare provides you with accurate tracking and insights to help you make smarter decisions. Together, they simplify campaign setup and help you get better results with less effort.
