If you’re running affiliate campaigns through Marketcall, having the right tracking setup can make a big difference in your performance. It gives you a clearer view of what’s actually driving calls, leads, and revenue, allowing you to spot what’s working and what needs to change. With the right Marketcall tracking in place, it becomes much easier to make smarter decisions about testing, optimizing, and scaling your campaigns.
In this article, we will walk you through a step-by-step guide on how to set up accurate Marketcall tracking with ClickFlare.
What Is Marketcall Tracking?
Marketcall tracking is the process of measuring how your Marketcall offers are performing. That includes tracking every step of your funnel such as clicks, leads, and revenue for each user in order to understand which ad network, campaign, ad, or landing page drove it.
Marketcall supports integrations with third-party trackers, which makes it easy to connect with an advanced tracking platform like ClickFlare to understand your full campaign performance.
How Marketcall Helps Affiliate Marketers
Marketcall is a popular pay-per-call and lead generation affiliate network, where you can become an affiliate and promote their offers in exchange for a commission. Typically, you get paid per each qualified call or lead you generate for the network.
Why Accurate Marketcall Tracking Matters
As an affiliate marketer, your goal is simple: drive more leads so you can receive a higher payout from the network. Your entire focus should be on optimizing your campaigns to generate more high-quality traffic that is likely to convert.
You cannot optimize your campaigns accurately if you don’t know with certainty which ads, offers, or traffic sources are performing better. This is even more important with pay-per-call campaigns, where not all conversions have the same value.
How ClickFlare Fits Into the Setup
This is where ClickFlare comes in. While Marketcall tracks the conversion and revenue side, ClickFlare helps you attribute and analyze the traffic that leads to those conversions.
We will dive deeper into the details of how this works in the next sections, but the general way this integration works is that Marketcall sends conversions and payouts to ClickFlare through a server-to-server postback URL, and ClickFlare appends a click ID into the Marketcall offer link to attribute each conversion to its source. ClickFlare also has integrations with all the top ad networks in order to accurately track your traffic and cost.
How Marketcall Tracking Works With ClickFlare
ClickFlare helps you track the traffic you send to a Marketcall offer, while Marketcall records and fires the conversion once a call or lead meets the offer requirements.
Let’s take a deeper look into how to integrate Marketcall offers with external ad trackers.
How S2S Postback Tracking Works
The connection between Marketcall and ClickFlare works through server-to-server (or S2S) postback tracking. ClickFlare tracks the click when someone visits your tracking link, and if that person later generates a qualified call, Marketcall sends a postback to ClickFlare with their conversion data.
This method of tracking ensures accuracy, because conversions get reported directly from Marketcall’s server instead of relying on browser-based tracking.
How Click IDs and Subid Parameters Keep Tracking Accurate
For this setup to work, each click needs a unique identifier. When someone clicks on your tracking link, ClickFlare generates a click ID. That ID is then passed into the Marketcall offer URL, usually through a parameter like subid.
If that visitor converts, Marketcall sends that same value back through the postback. This is how ClickFlare matches the conversion to the initial visit and is able to attribute it to the right ad.
What Information Gets Passed Back to ClickFlare
Apart from the click ID, Marketcall can also pass other useful information regarding the qualified lead to ClickFlare, such as the payout amount.
This allows you to see a full campaign overview on ClickFlare, including accurate cost, revenue, profit, and ROI to help you make better decisions about what to test, pause, or scale.
What You Need Before Setting Up Marketcall Tracking
Before you set up Marketcall tracking with ClickFlare, you need to have a few things ready at hand:
- An active ClickFlare account
- A live Marketcall offer to use as a test
- Access to your ad account (we will need this to connect via API, set up your pixel, or S2S tracking)
- Access to set up a postback URL on Marketcall
Step 1: Generate the ClickFlare Postback URL
How to Map the Marketcall Tokens
For the connection with Marketcall, you first need to create an affiliate network in ClickFlare.
On the left-side menu, hover over Assets and click on Affiliate Networks. Select the Marketcall template.
You will notice that the tokens for the click ID and payout are already mapped out following Marketcall’s template.

Based on this information, ClickFlare will automatically generate a postback URL. You need to copy this link, because we will implement it on Marketcall in the next step.

Set Up the ClickFlare Postback in Marketcall
In Marketcall, you need to go to Automation and then click on Postbacks. You need to configure your settings like shown in this photo.
Under Link, you can add the postback URL we copied from ClickFlare.

Step 2: Get Your Marketcall Offer Tracking Link
Where to Find the Marketcall Tracking URL
On the left-side menu in Marketcall, click on My Campaigns and then select the campaign you wish to connect to ClickFlare. Copy the offer URL displayed there. It usually follows this format: https://your-marketcall-offer-link?
Make sure to copy this offer tracking link because we will need to add it on ClickFlare.
Add the ClickFlare Click ID to Marketcall Tracking Link
In ClickFlare’s left-side menu, hover over Assets and click on Offers.
Add a new offer and after giving it a name, select Marketcall as your Affiliate Network. In the Offer URL box, paste the offer tracking URL you copied from Marketplace.
Turn on the button right underneath the link to Append Click ID to Offer URL. This step will connect conversions from Marketcall to the click ID registered in ClickFlare, and it’s very important you apply it.
At the end, the link will look like this: https://your-marketcall-offer-link?subid={cf_click_id}

If you are sending traffic to a lander before they reach the offer page, you also need to add a Lander on ClickFlare by going to Assets and Landers.
You simply need to add your lander URL and identify the amount of CTAs on the page. If you have multiple CTAs that direct to the same offer page, you can keep it as one. Make sure to add the Click URL on your CTA buttons on your landing page. This will serve as the hop link used for tracking purposes.
Step 3: Configure Your Ad Network
Now that you have connected Marketcall, you can configure your ad network to get a full picture of your campaign performance.
There are different steps to configuring your ad accounts, and it depends on which traffic source you are buying traffic from.
How to Create Cost Integrations
ClickFlare has direct cost integrations with most social and native ad platforms. You simply need to go to Integrations and then Cost Tracking.
For most social media platforms like Facebook, TikTok, or Snapchat, you will have to sign in to your account in order to give ClickFlare access to automatically pull costs. After signing in, you can select the specific ad accounts within the Business Manager that you wish to connect.

For native traffic sources like Taboola, NewsBreak or Outbrain, you will need to provide your access token, API key, or client secret (depending on the platform).

How to Pass Data to Your Ad Network: Conversion API Method
You can also pass data from ClickFlare directly to your ad platform to feed their algorithm and ensure your campaigns perform better.
For social media platforms, you can send data directly through the Conversion API. You need to click on Integrations, Conversion API, and connect your pixel by adding your credentials and access token.

After you have connected your pixel, you can configure the Conversion API settings like shown in the photo below. ClickFlare has a flexible Conversion API, which means you get to choose which events you send back to your ad platform.
In this specific case, we are sending ClickFlare conversions back to Facebook as Lead events.

Create Your Traffic Source
You also need to create the Traffic Source element on ClickFlare. On the left-side menu, hover over Assets and click on Traffic Sources.
You will be presented with a list of possible traffic sources you can choose from. Once you click on one, we will automatically fill in the Parameters section with the right tracking template based on your network.

How to Pass Data to Your Ad Network: S2S Method
For native ad platforms like Taboola and NewsBreak, you can pass data from your ClickFlare account to their dashboards using the server-to-server method.
Within the traffic source, you can see an option that says Passing conversion info to traffic source. You need to click the toggle on and choose which ClickFlare events you wish to send to your ad network.
In this case, we’re sending Conversions. The only thing you need to edit for the URL on the right is the event type. This needs to fully match the name of the event set up in your traffic source. For example, if the event type on NewsBreak is “lead”, you need to add &event_type=lead.

Step 4: Create Your Ad Tracking Campaign
Finally, you can create your ad tracking campaign. Go to Campaigns and create a new one. In the first step, you have to configure the general settings.
Here, you can set the campaign name, country, and device type. For the Cost Model, you can leave it as “Not Tracked” because we will pull the cost through our integration.
The transition between the ad and campaign can be left as Redirect, unless you are advertising on platforms that do not allow redirect tracking (such as Google).

In the next step, you have to configure your campaign destination. Most affiliates use a Landers & Offers or Offers only flow.

Once you have mapped out your campaign flow, you will see a link has been generated under Tracking. This is your Campaign Tracking URL, which you need to copy and paste in your ad network as the ad destination.

Step 5: Test Your Marketcall Tracking Setup
Before going live, you can perform a simple test by opening this link in an Incognito window and seeing if it works well. Try clicking through and creating a test conversion to see if it’s reflecting on ClickFlare and on your ad network.
Common Marketcall Tracking Errors to Avoid
Missing or Incorrect Subid
One of the most common issues is not passing the ClickFlare click ID into the Marketcall offer URL correctly. If the subid is missing, empty, or mapped to the wrong token, Marketcall may still record the conversion, but ClickFlare will not be able to match it back to the original click.
Wrong Postback Placeholders
Another common issue is using the wrong placeholders in the postback URL. For the conversion to be passed back correctly, the postback needs to send the right values in the right format. If the click ID placeholder is wrong, or if payout and status values are mapped incorrectly, ClickFlare may not process the conversion.
Payout Not Showing Correctly
If your conversions are appearing but the payout is missing or incorrect, the problem usually comes from the payout value not being passed properly in the postback. In some cases, the payout parameter may be missing entirely. In others, the wrong field may be used, or the value may not match the payout structure of the offer.
How to Use Marketcall Tracking Data to Optimize Campaigns
ClickFlare offers several features that can help you optimize your campaigns even further for better results.
Send Filtered Conversions Back to Your Ad Network
Through the Conversion API or S2S connection with your ad network, you can apply different event filters. For example, let’s say you only want to send back events coming from a specific country. You can apply this filter:

You can also decide to only send events with a certain value to control the quality of conversions you send to your ad network.
Split-Test Marketcall Offers to Compare Performance
You can also split-test different offers within the same campaign to speed up testing and improve results. For example, if you have two Marketcall offers about home renovations, you can split-test them in the same campaign to see which one has a higher conversion rate.

Set Custom Payout Formulas for Better Reporting
If you are working on a revshare deal, trying to cap maximum conversion values, or are applying tier-based payouts, you can now use formulas to send accurate conversion values back to your ad networks.

Use the ClickFlare AI Copilot
One of our most popular features at the moment is the AI Copilot. Once you have gathered enough Marketcall data on your account, you can ask the AI Copilot to analyze your performance, spot patterns amongst winning and losing campaigns, advise you on strategy, create ads and optimize your work.
Marketcall Tracking: Conclusion
Marketcall is a booming affiliate network where you can find high-quality offers, mostly in the lead generation and pay-per-call verticals. In order to succeed as a Marketcall affiliate, you need to ensure you have the right tracking setup in place.
Marketcall supports integrations with tracking platforms like ClickFlare, which can help you get a clear overview on all your campaigns, track accurate data, and perform optimizations with features such as the event filter, A/B tester, Smart Payout Control and AI Copilot.
Marketcall Tracking FAQ
Can you track Marketcall offers with ClickFlare?
Yes. Marketcall supports integrations with third-party trackers, which makes it possible to connect your offers with ClickFlare and track clicks, conversions, and payout data in one place. In this setup, ClickFlare tracks the initial click, while Marketcall records the qualified call or lead and sends the conversion data back through a postback.
What is the subid in Marketcall tracking?
The subid is the parameter used to pass the ClickFlare click ID into the Marketcall offer URL. This is what allows ClickFlare to match a conversion back to the original click. If the subid is missing or incorrect, conversions may still appear in Marketcall, but they will not be attributed properly inside ClickFlare.
Why is S2S postback tracking used for Marketcall?
Server-to-server postback tracking is used because it gives you a more accurate way to report conversions. Instead of relying on browser-based tracking alone, Marketcall sends the conversion directly from its server back to ClickFlare. That helps improve attribution accuracy and makes it easier to connect each qualified call or lead to the right campaign, ad, or landing page.
What data can Marketcall send back to ClickFlare?
Along with the click ID, Marketcall can pass conversion details such as payout information. This gives you a clearer view of campaign performance inside ClickFlare, including revenue-related data that helps you evaluate which campaigns are worth testing further, pausing, or scaling.
Why are Marketcall conversions not showing up in ClickFlare?
In most cases, this happens because the click ID was not passed correctly, the subid is missing, or the postback placeholders were set up incorrectly. It can also happen if the conversion never met the conditions required by the Marketcall offer. When this happens, the best approach is to check that ClickFlare recorded the click, confirm that the subid was appended to the offer URL, and review the postback setup in Marketcall.
Can you send Marketcall conversion data back to your ad network?
Yes. Once the setup is in place, ClickFlare can send conversion data back to supported ad networks through the Conversion API or server-to-server integrations. You can also apply filters so that only selected events are passed back, which can help improve campaign optimization and feed cleaner signals into the ad platform.
Can you split-test Marketcall offers in ClickFlare?
Yes. ClickFlare makes it possible to split-test different Marketcall offers within the same campaign. This gives you a faster way to compare performance and see which offer produces better conversion rates or stronger payout outcomes before you scale traffic further.
